What are your service charges?
We charge $85 per hour and a $25 trip charge for service in our local areas.

Do you have a minimum?
We have a one-hour minimum charge.

Do you give free estimates?
No, but if we do an estimate and you accept our service, the estimate charge is waived.

How long will my A/C unit last?
Systems installed typically last 10 to 20 years with scheduled preventative maintenance. Older A/C systems in use today cost up to 20-30% more to operate than newer systems. For example, S.E.E.R. (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio), with which most current systems are installed, have a 13 SEER ratio. Old systems are rated at 10 SEER. This represents a 30% reduction in energy cost.

Repair or Replace?
The cost of repair today may not be your only repair cost in the near future. Often as HVAC systems age, you'll find yourself making multiple repairstin a short period of time to address various component failures. When deciding to repair or replace, use the cost to fully restore your comfort system along with likely future repairs as your basis for comparison, not just the cost of today's required repair.

Does it really matter who installs the equipment?
According to the US Department of Energy, the heating and cooling contractor you choose does make a difference. The same equipment can be installed by a different contractor, and there can be a difference in comfort, equipment efficiency and overall life.
